Tax Administration: Experience of Armenia (in Russian) by Suren Adamyan, Advisor to the Department of International Cooperation of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the main contact person of Armenia at BRITACOM, was published in December 2020.

 

The book treats the implication of tax administration and the milestones in development of Armenian Tax Administration, as well as the issues related to taxpayer’s registration and deregistration by tax authority, taxpayer services, taxpayer’s voluntary compliance and enforcement of taxes, tax control, liability for tax offenses, appeal of the tax officer’s action, international cooperation in tax area, and digitalization of tax administration.

 

This book is intended for the chief executives and accountants of companies, financial industry experts and auditors, tax officials, university undergraduates majoring in the areas of Taxes and Taxation, as well as Banking and Finance.

 

 

Mr. Suren Adamyan, is the Adviser of the International Cooperation Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia. He has over 25 years of experience in the tax authority of Armenia. He specializes in the taxation of foreign companies' activities in Armenia, the application of double tax treaties in relation to international transactions, international exchange of information.

 

PhD in Economics. He is the author of 6 monographs, including “Fundamentals of the Tax System of Armenia”, “Financial and Tax Accounting”, and over 30 scientific publications in Armenian and foreign editions.

 

For over 10 years he was the Armenian principal contact person in the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA). He is the principal contact person of Armenia at BRITACOM.
